TomR was caught on the internet with an avatar of a woman in lingerie by his cleaning lady. Instead of turning his avatar's off at work he expects everyone else to "G" rate their own avatar's. He might as well ask the cable companies to clean up their programming just in case his child walks in the room.
Change the channel or leave it off.

I have to disagree, Tom has a right to ask that others be respectfull of him. If he chooses to have the cable on when the kids are home, that is HIS choice. If he is viewing rennlist and the kiddo walks up as an avatar or other image loads, that is NOT his choice it WAS someone else's choice. Now true he does have the option to turn off avatars, but that is a totally differnt point. It is not MY right to impose what is decent or not, it is MY responsability to be a good member of this community.

I have a geeky thing I like to do in an elevator: Curl up in a ball in a corner. And when someone asks you what's wrong and touches you on the shoulder scream "BAD TOUCH BAD TOUCH".

I hear "special" isn't quite the word to describe it, but it is the euphemism.
