btw.. that car just screams sex. the 968 are the hottest water cooled cars that porsche ever made. (and thats a high complement considering the 996, 997, boxster, and cgt are water coolers.. and im a purist.)

Thanks to all for your kind comments. Here are some individualized responses that I have written:

will be one of the first to know.
"Amazon Green is gorgeous. I'm very jealous now, I'm gonna go and sulk."
Thank you very much. I have always lusted after this color, too. Don't sulk, buddy, you have an awesome S2. Go drive that baby, instead!"

"What is that on the top center of the windshield?" I think it is a reception
booster for the Alpine system.

"Congrats, that is one fine machine." Thank you very much. I am really
enjoying it so far.

Oh, I suppose if the offer is high enough, I would drive her around without them...

"Wow sooo nice congrats on the purchase. The 968 is one of my favourie
Porsches." Thanks, man!

The PO was quite a nice guy. The reason he was selling is because he wanted to buy his wife a new car. Talk about sacrificing your own needs for the one you love.... He was one fine human being.

Well, Porsche claimed around 155 mph when it was new. I can tell you that I have had her up to 140 mph, and she had plenty left! I really hadn't intended to go that fast, but let's just say that the road was as flat as a board, I could see for miles, there was no one else on the Interstate in sight, and that the wonderful powerplant kept prodding me to give it more... It was quite a rush, and at speed, the 968 compares more favorably to my chipped 951S than I was expecting! The sprint from 80-120 is very nice. I am so lucky that a cop didn't come out of nowhere... It might not have been such a fun ride home after all...

"Nice Car!"
Thanks!

Love that color! It's more blue than green...right?? Excellent looking car! I think Porsche really did the 944 style body justice by modding the front into the 968's sexy shape! That front styling brings the car into the newer style Porsche world!

Also, your photos make me wanna sell my concave center caps and buy the traditional ones. Wanna trade??

Details!! We need details!! Price, price, and price?

Glad it worked out and that I was able to play a miniscule part. welcome back.

Those pictures brought back memories of a trip I took out in '89 with a OJ bronco as a rental. coming from a RX7, man that thing was wide! When I tried to relocate to denver in '90 i used to go to lookout point almost daily to try and figure out life. then a local gal i met told me that was the local make out place.

enjoy the car. now you gotta paint it red to match the other two!

send me a pm with your email and i will send you the origianal.
