Default About to adjust front wheel bearings: Do I need seals?

I am about to try to adjust my front wheel bearings (got warned during AutoX tech today) and have looked over the procedures. I am not clear over whether or not I am going to need new seals for the bearings?
This is the piece I am asking about

No, those are indeed the front seals, but you would only need them if you remove the front hub and extract the inner wheel bearings.

Adjustment is performed on the outer wheel bearings only.

Just got done with the project and test drove it; felt the tiniest bit of difference behind the wheel. could no longer feel any bearing play while shaking the wheel (good for scca). Thanks for the help!
