Talking cat-bypasses and *Adriana Fever*

I took my car into my friends shop to get all the rusted bolts off the exhaust removed and to break the rust off the seized O2 sensor. I brought a downpipe/cat off my old 84 I had in my shed outback to have the catalytic convertor cut off and a piece of mild steel welded in between to complete my european exhaust conversion.

IMHO a factory muffler with a cat bypass sounds better than any other modified exhaust on these cars. I have no resonator as part of that straight pipe. It sounds mellow on start up and deep. Get on the gas hard and you'll wake the neighbors and scare the coyotes For city driving, it's nice and calm under 4,000 rpm...just be sure when you decide to open up, make sure there's no cops around and you'll be just fine I'll post some pix of what I had done as soon as I can get under the car and change my O2 sensor. Probably this weekend. If anyone has a site that can host videos too lemme know. I'm gonna make one of the bypass. Take care everyone!

Andy

Are you using the stock header or do you have a tube one. I have a set of euro exhaust manifolds that I'm thinking of trying out. If I don't I'll probley sell them on here

I heard some videos of the lindsey exhaust and It's sounds great. I don't know if I'd spend so much on an SFR, just for the shine... doesn't really sound like much of a deal to me.

Rofl, this is the adriana lima sig thread. (Too bad mines the best )

I had the same set up as you, Andy, but then i removed it because i got tired of the added vibration. I do miss the deeper note and the extra power though. Maybe ill put it on when i get bored over summer.

NO, I'm sure it's upstate somewhere. I'm near the city, in nassau county. About 10 minutes from JFK. My car has more of a beige or champagne tint, not really a gold tint.

Well, good luck on finding him. Maybe we can get together and go for a little porsche run. My cousin Mark has a '04 996 TT, and my cousin Ida, a boxster.
