It's almost worth getting and restoring to 912 spec if the body is clean.

The sale of that frigging heavy motor would get enough cash for a good 356 motor.. Hmmm..

Yep, people selling cars love to speak in unsubstantiated approximations. Umm around 2000 pounds, because a 912 with an all alloy NA 4 banger weighs a little more than that. So when I dropped a heavier body, and heavier motor in the body, the car weighs a little less.

Yep serious power. Our 2.5L 4 bangers w/ a chip make that much power.
