Default 1986 Porsche 944 - $2600

Got this from a classified ad at work. The car is owned by a lady who is an executive:

5 Spd, AC, Grey with black interior, Pwr windows, Stereo with cassette.
146,000 miles. $2600

I suspect this car is in mint condition. I am asking her for pictures and for repair records - specifically timing belt change.

If the car is in good shape, this may be a great deal for anyone that is interested here. Shoot, I may even be interested..

I know it's been said before, but heck with the ring - get her a Porsche instead!

Never suspect that any old car (esp a 944) is in 'mint' condition.

$2600, even if it needs belts and a water pump....So long as everything else is straight, it's a better deal than I got.

Then again I knew NOTHING when I bought mine

I dont know. I just have a feeling this car would be in excellent shape. Im still waiting for her reply. If this car does not smoke, no leaks, belts done, no milkshake, clutch done.. Then if the price is bargained at $2400 then this car would be a steal. We shall see.

In Lake Forest.... ????

I'll look at it this week if possible...

Can you PM me with the details. I travel daily from San Diego through Orange county & LA and go as far as Glendale on a daily basis. I would like to see it one evening...

I usually come down the 5, but I believe Lake Forest should be between the 5 and 405..
