I need a couple of things......
Anybody have a passenger side rear ( Me thinks they are both the same) black bumper pad? Good condition with all 3 studs.
While I'm fishing here, might as well ask if anyone has the bumper end caps, both sides? Not too warped..
How about the intermedite shaft for a manual steering rack???
Post or PM me.

I just put a used one on my car, I had the whole rear bumper but the endcaps were trashed so I tossed them. I think all four of those pads carry different part numbers.

Odd item. I found mine at a local P-car dismantler, PartWerks of Chicago. You could try the same, it's likely your best bet. No one really takes them off until they have to (the little mounting bits are rusted away).
Treat whatever you get liberally with Vinylex over the course of a week or so and it will look very good.

James, there is a salvage yard around Hardy and Aldine Mail Route. That has/had a beautiful 86 n/a that was wrecked hard in the front. I can't remember the name of the salvage yard though.

James - if you get it from Partwerks, I can pick them up and deliver them to the airport as I am there at least 2-3 times per month.

Geo, I just sent them a email last night. He has the end caps on an auction as well. Want to see what he can do on shipping.

James,
If your existing bumper pad just has a broken stud, you can drill a small hole next to the broken stud (it is attached to a somewhat larger flat metal head that is embedded in the rubber) thru the head. Then use a mahine screw to attach it from the backside.

tifosiman,
Yeah, that would work,,,,,but,,,The whole metal tab thing in the rubber is rusted out. I tried epoxy and JB weld also. Seems the rubber is too pliable and/or porus to hold well enough when I try to get the nut tightened up.
Thanks though, I like the way you think.....
