Hi,
I gave up and trusted my 968a to car cleaning professionals; I didn’t have that much elbow grease left.
My speedgelb 968 looks fantastic.
The problem is that it has developed a tendency to misfire after the cleaning.
Yes, the engine bay looks like new, I guess that they have used water and “chemicals “ to achieve that.
Im getting the impression that it fires on three cylinders and that the fourth is just firing between 4-5000 revs.
I have cleaned the spark wires, removed the plugs and used WD-40.
But I’m still having the problem.
I know that it’s a long shot, but is there a standard cure for fixing a “wet” 968 engine?
I also have a old 911, will never clean it :-)
I’m grateful for all help.
Best regards
Anders
