people could start showing up as early as 8:30am....i will try to be up at least by 8. I will bring a bunch of tools to the apt but if jeremy you think we need anything special to do harrys car, bring it along just in kase.

 

i dont know what will be needed off hand. i will look through the bbs 912 and the pelican 912 board to see what tools are needed and if i have it ill bring it.. but i dont know if ill necessarly have it (sorry i know i know.. but there are more 912ers there than here)..

While everyone is watching Le Mans, I'll be preparing to crew a car from here in Orlando that will be racing the 2004 Le Mans Classic next month. We sent the car by boat Thursday to Europe. The team is really pumped about going to race there. Only 5 teams from the US were invited and a total of 350 from around the world will be competing. We leave on 7/21 (wed.) & return the following Monday and will be running in Group 6, the fastest. Also, a team from Indy that brought the #2 Gulf 917 to Rennsport II is going but is taking a different car to Le Mans. Can't wait to get there, it's an opportunity of a life time. I'll take a buch of pics and post them when I get home.

The new boy in town wanted to know what's going on this weekend. He's anxious to meet the crew and is excited that not everyone we hand out with are old fogies.

I'm out. I have a TON of crap to do this weekend (including doing some rewiring in the garage due to a near electrocution experience I had yesterday with a ceiling fan, long story), and I realistically have to choose between the autocross on Sunday and tomorrow's hang out. The autocross wins. I know, I suck .

But I will see a few of ya on Sunday!
