Cant get hood open.

Cant get hood open.
Hey guys. I had my hood open today and now i cant get it back open. I shut it and drove the car for like 2 miles. When i came home and tried to open the hood it was stuck.
I pull has hard as i can on the cable and it just sits there.
It looks like it is popped up just a tiny bit.
Anybody got an experience on this one?

Rock, that happened to me and I posted the fix to the original thread Peckster found for you.
The long and the short of it is that you need two people to get it open. Try to follow out the instructions in the thread and check back with us if you still can't get it open.

I got it open then i shut it again and i had the same problem.
There was a screwdriver stuck under there which i think caused the problem.
Now i got it out, and everytime i shut it i have to open it back up by going under it? Is something broken or bent?

I had that problem and I found that my cable had a kink in it. I had to ensure that the hatch lever was returned FULLY to the locked position before I shut the hood. If you forget, you need a buddy to help again to get it open........

I have several times this problem, when i align my hood last month(after an accident)
You have to lay down under your car, take off the aluminium plate that protects the engine(if its still there),and with a normal 10 wrench loose just a bit those 2 screws that holds the latch.I done this in about 2 minutes, belive me....after that the hood will pop up a bit and you will raise it.
