Jeremy's car doesn't ride that bad. I have 200 lb. springs and my ride with the low profile 18" tires is about the same as his. The difference being his car handles like "Jesus on rollerblades".
If you go to a 250# spring or higher you need to match all the suspension components so that everything works together. If you do 400# springs you have to use bigger rear torsion bars to match.
Best thing to do is email Skip, tell him how you want to use the car and what you consider good handling and get his suggestions.

If I could do 400 on my 944 I would. But of course it would involve more $$$ then how much I bought my car for

Yes, an RS 3.8 993 (converted from a regular 993). of course there was no carpet or fancy door panels. My friend who fixes my car let me do a lap at a local autocross in it since they were doing some changes to the car's engine the night before and wanted to see if it benefitted or not. Absolutely awesome car!!!!!

There also could be a dampening and weight difference coming into play here. If the car is much lighter than mine, and/or the dampening is not quite right, there would be a difference in perceived ride quality.

true....true. I'm not sure how light it is seeing that I've never seen it on a balancer. If anyone knows what an RSR 993 weight is please post it here. I do have a pic somewhere that shows what I'm talking about but I don't have a scanner.
Tifos the dampers did feel pretty solid on the car seeing that the setup was H&R coil overs. Which is why I like how you can adjust Konis to how you feel like riding for the day

I have the pargon kit on my 944-spec car.
Here is my suspension set-up.
350lbs springs, 30 mm torsion bars, 28/22 mm F/R Welt sway bars.
Koni Yellows, stock damping
My car is stripped out and runs 2450 lbs.
I find that this set-up is quite good at the track for racing. I won't go stiffer in front due to the understeer that it causes.
I do not drive the car on street, but it is quite stiff at that weight. Too stiff for the street in my opinion.

Also, are you running a 80% LSD?

I can't go stiffer in the rear due to rules contraits. Rules limit us to max commonly avalible torsion bar which is 30 mm and no coilovers.
No LSD... Running open right now.

Geo... Balance is really good right now. Only issue is inside wheel spinining on some corner exits. If it adjust the sway bars to reduce that I get more understeer than I want so I just deal with the wheel spin and lift a little. Works out much better than having understeer everywhere.
Sure an LSD will help, but I can spend the money right now.
