Ha-ha, manual windows are taunting me from afar. The day the UPS man delivers the manual lifters is they day they get installed.

Yeah, I just paid over $2/gal for the first time in my life! At least the wife's car runs on regular, but I'm sure that will be over $2 soon enough!
Regular has been in the mid $2.30's here for quite a while now.

"Premium" 91-octane **** water is in the mid $2.50's.

Count your blessings. CA sucks.

Sorry Sean, but I filled up with 93 last Sunday for $2.02! Regular was $1.85 but it's already up to $1.99 since then in some stations.

I like the 924. My son has a '78 and it is a pile of fun to drive. They handle great and almost feel more connected to the road. Once you drive a decent one you will know what I mean.

haha, it's pretty funny, when i had my first 924, my friends would always poke fun of it, "Hey Dmitry, you going to drive your Scirocco over?" I got a lot of **** for it not being a "real" porsche.

I have a 924 that I would consider to be in great shape. The values have been increasing steadly now as they become collectors. My car is a 1978 N/A. The Nada guides and Excellences last roundup have showed a steady increase in value. Original N/A's are becoming harder to harder to find.

Talking about gas prices, we pay about 1.5$ a litre for 95(lowest octane) here in Norway...

My ITS car is corner weighted at 2490 (without driver) and it is fast.
I can't even imagine how fast it would be if we could run e-prod weight or D-prod weight from the eighties - or even if I could lower it more without getting clown-car camber in the rear.

Double the value.......buy it off a PO that did not maintain it!

Mine cost 3500.00 2.5 yrs ago 85K and all records. So far I have spent nothing on maintaining it other than the basic needed work but have spent a few grand up grading it! I take that back I did have to change the cooler seals but that is all!
