Yes -- the canyons! There's alot of fun twisty roads in there -- just don't go over the cliff (see other thread). I even thought about finding a place to live up there: the commute would be long, but fun!

Got my tranny oil changed with no issues; alot easier than I thought. Took awhile to pump the new stuff (Swepco 201) in though... However, I may or may not be able to swing up to Warwick Sunday, and if I do, I probably won't stay for food and drink; just too much to do on the boat. Would like to meet everyone though.

Keep an eye on the weather,and check back here on sunday morning to see if plans change.As of now we will met at the showcase by east greenwich(division street) at 10;30 if rainy we can try to meet later.Hope to meet everyone in person!

What kind of boat? I had 1 trip on the bay already.West marine is right across from the showcase if you need to pick up anything.Ive got a Four Winns.

I actually have two: and Edgewater 16 (best small boat on the market), and a Boston Whaler 21' sailboat that I am going to sell. Unfortunately, a Blackfin 29 came up on the market the other day that is making me weak in the knees. Curiously enough, the the Blackfin 29 Combi came out in the late 80's, it was advertised as the "Porsche 944" of boats. Serendipity, I think, and a sign if there ever was one.
The wife ain't too crazy about another boat, but it doesn't cost anything to look, right? Although with gas prices like they are, you have to not look at the ticker when filling the boat.
Have not been up on the bay in a year or two, although once took my Edgewater from Point Judith all the way up to Waterplace Park at the Prov Place Mall, the back down to Newport, and back to Point Judith in one day. I didn't realize there were so many nude sunbathers on the north side of Beavertail Light. They named that place right

just posting to get this thread up and remind all those near Inskip to come on by. My friend, Don, who has a couple amazing 914-6's will be coming, and I got a few other Porsche people to show up, so it looks like it will be a fun time.
Just finished cleaning the car up. I'll be taking the 944 that is for sale, if anyone is interested in seeing it.

Ryan,is the event going to happen rain or shine?I think I wasted my time washing the 944!

Yes we are still on ! No rain yet it looks like occasional showers,so we might get lucky with the weather.
