You guys are killing me. Damn I miss the NJ shore.

Mike951 - The Lighthouse was only a few blocks from my old place. Ever go to Max's for hotdogs ?

How about Hoffman's in Point Pleasant!

they said it should take a couple of weeks for the underwriters to approve it. i spoke to the underwriter today. they haven't yet put the pictures in the application.

but she opened the email with the pictures with me on the phone. nice car she said when the porsche appeared. "oh a firebird" she said as that picture was opened. She didn't say mustang or camaro. I think she knows her stuff! that could be good or bad when it comes to classifying the 944 as an exotic.

There's a place in Short Hills was called Emack & Bolio, but I think they changed the name a year or two ago. The "ice cream pallor" is a converted house and last I heard the ice cream was made in the garage behind it that has been converted to a tiny factory. The place gets written up all the time as one of the best in NJ (along with Hoffmans, etc). It's right by me <1 mile from the exit on Rt 24, right near where Rt 24 meets Rt 78 so It should be easy for everyone to find. I haven't been there in a while but if there's any interest I could check it out (hours, etc).

I like both, but not together! Makes for a nasty float!

mike, good to hear from you!

Lighthouse is pretty good, I was actually down there last night. In regards to Max's, I have been living in this area for about 8 years and have never been there. I must have driven by it hundreds of times though.

NNJ autox on the 12th, and us married guys aren't likely to get out on the 13th after spending all day at an autox! Anyone have a problem with the 19th?

I think the 19th works for me. And that ice cream house place sounds cool! Maybe with one of Dave's home-brew desert beers!?
