Default Turbo SHO Video

Despite the fact that this person is doing lots of illegal things on camera, has anyone seen this video? Has to rank as one of the best sleepers; you can go to the supermarket and buy the family groceries in it! they cost like 3000 bucks! hehe, and my friend is doing this very mod right now, except he is swapping the SHO motor into a Probe and running a T3/T4. We're placing bets on how many axles and trannies he can destroy once its all together (which won't be for long periods of time).

A video showing a guy speeding on residential streets.
The title of the video:

Interior WOT run in the neighborhood
Description: Me running my 95 MTX in the neighborhood. You can hear what the SHO Shop y-pipe w/cats combined with the flex pipe and Borla cat-back sound like.

If someone did this on my street, I would personally beat the **** of the punk with my bare hands.

I clearly didn't advocate this type of driving. But this does happen all the time, which doesn't make it right, but for curiosity's sake I posted the video.

Anyways, if you feel some aggression, come beat up my neighbor with his loud CRX that always goes 90 through the neighborhood. Double team him and he won't be able to run away.

When I was a kid my favorite relative was Uncle Caveman. After school we'd all go play in his cave, and every once in a while he would eat one of us. It wasn't until later that I found out that Uncle Caveman was a bear.

And the point of the video is? ? ?

I know the SHO is a great sleeper car, but that vid proves nothing about the car.

It does, however, show that stupid testosterone filled kids and cars don't mix.

Ok, it's an apples-to-oranges comparison, but since I've owned an '89 SHO and a '85.5 944, I can tell you the SHO is faster. The 944 handles better. Big surprise.

Still owning both a 951 and an SHO, I agree that the SHO is a great sleeper and grocery getter. The brakes aren't worth a damn though. The Yamaha engine is superb and the Mitsubishi tranny is much better than anything Ford has ever built (IMHO). But I'll take my Teutonic car anyday over my SHO. Not only is it faster, better, and more reliable, no-body notices an SHO (other than car buffs), but everyone knows what a Porsche is.
BTW, that idiot should have his liscence revoked and his car sold for scrap.

I dont think sho's suck at all. Theres nothing wrong with fwd inherently. And, dare I say it, but I didnt see anything that bad in the video at all. He laid some patches in a seemingly rarely used street, then raced some cars on the highway. Here on hwy 100 where I live, its basically one big drag strip. People come from other counties just to cruise; for girls, for races, or for show. When I first read some of the replies, I was picturing him racing through actual neighborhood streets, with driveways, etc. Come on, guys...

I thought the car was pretty cool, actually. I mean the thing is already pushing 220hp stock. Neat idea, seemed to turn out well.

944T4ME, I really gotta get out to see you! im right here in waukesha and you talk of hwy 100. heh, yes it is the local strip for sure, and all you see all night long (even on holidays!) is mustangs, civics, and the occassional nice car doing burnouts. i can't decide if i love it or hate it.

testosterone might help account for all the porsches that are sold in america, remember! :-)
