the wipers are in the car, i just need ti install them, the reservoir was removed to istall the pin to hold the hood, and if you noticed behind it there is an ignition coil implifier. about the weight reduction, remember, the rear window is now lexal thats a lot right there, and the hood and fenders and bumpers are all fiber glass, very light, you can lift up the hood with one hand. and the seats as well same as for the wheels. look guys where not here to trach each other, opinions are welcomed, but no insults please

I hate 944 turbo's. Especially ones that are modified.

Mike, I didn't mean to trash anyone. We get a lot of rain where I live and working windshield wipers are a necessity on any car, weekender or daily driver.

Very sorry about the previous comments. I just don't like it, maybe just the engine but still. It seems like it would need a lot of work to meet my expectations.

I hate 944s too I wish I had a 951

When I see cars like this I wanna rush out and buy them just to rescue them from their owners. Alas I am not wealthy enough to do so. What ya got here is a serious restoration project. FOR instance the lexan rear hatch is starting to show a bit of discoloration. The seats don't match. The body work is... well a whole other project unto itself. WHO knows what shape the engine is in with 150k on the BROKEN odometer... The bid has exceeded what I would pay for the car.

There needs to be an extreme make over show for cars and this would be a prime candidate.

If your going to sell a car be honest in its condition. Don't try and pass it off as "this is a super car" and I am doing all of you all a favor buy letting you in on it.

I am afraid what will happen is the list may email your bidders to inform them of what they are getting into which is a PROJECT to be sure.

P.S. real has only one l

I am not saying this is the case with this car, but unless its a track car, replacing OEM body parts with fiberglass makes me think it was wrecked at some point and it was cheaper to slap some fiberglass fenders, nose panel, etc, than to spend the money on OEM body parts.

I'm confused, or I'm very strong since I can CARRY my stock hood around with one hand when it's off the car. Put some really strong hoot shocks in, damn thing will open itself.

You guys talking about this piece? It appears the rear bumper is screwed on, on the drivers side. For an engine that was rebuilt 30K miles ago, it sure looks like a stock motor to me.

I see:
a stock AFM (there goes the claim that no one here has a faster one)
no pics of intercooler (why tell me its upgraded without proof)
no pics of Mocal oil cooler (see above)
poorly fitted panels and paint work
ridiculous scoop
not one pic of this "upgrade" stuff

This appears to be a basket case 951 that probably makes about 220HP.

Mike- I'd like to be wrong about you. Maybe you can answer a few questions for me, here's a good one to start with:

How was the yellow 944 your first porsche, yet in the ebay add where you were selling it you mentioned that you had sold 2 944s before?

"yes this is my first 944"-December '03

"I SOLD COUPLE OF 944S BEFORE, BUT THIS ONE WAS MEANT TO STAY, THATS WHY I INVESTED IN IT." -February '04

There are a lot of other inconsistencies in your posts. I shouldn't be wasting my time like this, but lies **** me off.

EDIT: I guess it is possible that you bought and sold 2 944s in a two month period, but if that were the case, I would have expected some more spam posts from you.

you ain't the only one!

i'll bet you'll think next time about posting spam on this bbs. had you actually ever participated in the forum you'd know the trash you are peddling would have received less than a warm welcome. hopefully you have learned your lesson.
