Default OT: Light Weight Fuel!

I found this article online about how Ferrari is using a new light weight fuel to get an edge on the competition.

Quote: "Ferrari is using a special 'light weight' fuel this season.

This may explain how the Scuderia's drivers Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello can run a bit longer than their rivals in the first stint of races.

Ten laps of Shell-produced Ferrari fuel, for example, might be the equivalent of only eight laps of a rival Formula One squad's product, because it weighs less.

A statement said 'Shell V-power F1ULG58' is as 'light as possible whilst maintaining the same performance characteristics.'"

I cannot believe the technology that goes into these things. A while back I was at a tech session where a guy was explaining that the tire companies make different tire compounds that only pick up certain kinds of rubber from the track. This makes it so that only goodyear tires will pick up goodyear rubber off the track making it so that no one else can have an extra advantage of another brands rubber.

Amazing!!
