Thumbs down European Car Article: Project 944

How rediculous is this......almost $4,000 for heat shields, intercooler and gauges....

In what relation to this project does he think normal 944 owners have? Most of us paid $4,000 and under for our N/As.

I saw this guy totally ruin a nice 95 M3, I have a strong feeling he will do the same with the 944 Turbo.

He should try understating the project, as it would be more reasonable and interesting to many.

what does RUF have anything to do with this. and that car isn;t the project car, but it is pretty. I assume its yours CT?
This guy is ruining the 951. He's dumb, wont take advice from countless emails sent from us owners... what can we do? Bitch about it on rennlist, thats all...

Yea, it's my gold 944 above.

If you look at the picture of the 951 in front of the fighter jet, the belly pan is hanging down on one side.

Every time I pick up this magazine (in the bathroom) I want to wipe my *** with it. Its getting embarassing to subscribe to EC, as many project articles are too childish...

It's European Car. They haven't addes it to the website yet. Look for it a bookstore.

I'm getting agrivated with him using poor choices for parts (Kokelns, B&B, etc) and then spend assloads of $$ without accomplishing much.

Exactly, it is total BS! It must be nice to trade advertising space for $4,000 worth of "mods". I really do not want to know the temp and pressure of every fluid in my car, talk about STRESS!!

I really cannot get over the huge white "KOKELNS" windshield sticker...how silly is that?

That's a free turbo.

i subscribed to EC as soon as i found out they were doing the 951 project. now i completely regret the decision. i feel awful for contributing to the bastardization of that poor 944 turbo.

For those of you that subcdribe or are just pissed, write to them through their website

http:www.europeancarweb.com

Also, Pablo posts on bimmerforums.com in the Forced induction section using VaderM3 as his ID. Several people have complained to him directly there.

I had an exchange with him after the article on the exhaust change when they tested at 7.5 psi.....

I had a 100 post or so long thread not long ago on this. For once I agree with you Horse! Such a poor sold out plan by Pablo its hard to imagine the motivation of it all. Involving Performance Products in the first instance was a huge mistake.

Let me guess, he will blow the turbo, have it rebuilt along with the head, fill it up with jet fuel and blow it again.

Booooooring!!!!!!!!!
