Im using swepco 201...does its job well. People say redline's fluid is better...but i have never tried it.

As for the cap, rotors, etc...go OEM. Im sure Pelican Parts or Paragon have em cheap.

Btw, my mom's volvo is also "busty"

Swepco or redline, both are good. Paragon for the rest, Bosch plugs in either copper or single electrode platinum as multiple electrodes don't work as well in these cars. Paragon also has a good price on wires with proper Beru ends and better than stock cable.

I've been using the Bosche Platinum +4 in the ol' 944 for months now. It actually seemed to get a little better throttle response, it's about due for a change, I have a brand new set of the regular single electrode Bosche Platinums that I'm going to use. Hell, I might as well do the whole tune up. magnecore wires are cheaper but Dave claims they rob a couple hp. Cap and rotor I've seen for like $60 for the set but don't remember where. I'd also suggest replacing the coil, it's probably getting old anyway.

If your transaxle is LSD, go for Redline MT-90. I don't think the Swepco has the friction modifier, but you could add it.

I put a set of NGK plugs in last month. I've been resisting using them for years, but thought I'd give them a try. They are different, and I think I like them better. We'll see how they last. And I think they're made better. The start of the threads were within 30 degrees on all four. Bosch were as much as 180 out. All of the NGKs lined up toward the valves within torque specs. That may be the difference in performance I think I feel.

If you do decide to stay with Bosch, I'd recommend the Super plugs. Big copper electrode is better than a skinny platinum electrode IMHO. Current is carried on the outside of the condutor. And they are cheaper.
