I'd look for different suppliers. Southbound is in UK, so it would be worth checking directly from them. Pretty obvious from the two images that Madras Karo Blue is way different than what you have in the car.

Stated the timing belt today. Oh dear. The tensioner for the ac, alternator snapped,
The water pump impeller was free wheeling and all the retainers for the AT fluid lines over the exhaust manifold were gone. The tiny nut that holds on the starter is rusted completely so I'll leave it.
On the plus side the at damper looks fine on first inspection

Got a lot done today.
Completed the timing belt and water pump. Cleaned and painted the starter motor.
New brake hoses and brake overhaul kit.
Disappointingly the right rear brake line sprung a terrible leak from the T junction. Can't think of a worse place.

Likely the flywheel damper plate has failed. Look for rubber shards at / in the bottom of the bell housing.

Had to drop the entire exhaust because the section bolts were too badly rusted.
I can see now they something bent the underside where the brake T junction is causing one of the line to contact the body and leak.
She moves but doesn't stop very well.

My sewing skills have improved.
Some adjustments are needed. I'll strip the passenger seat later.
Tomorrow I try making brakes lines for the first time.

Removing the tt was not a lot fun.
Couldn't reach the top atf cooler line and 3 ring gear bolts stripped. Had to make 3 trips to the hardware store. And I forgot about the kickdown/throttle cable. It doesn't detach. So I can't completely remove the tt. Oh well. I'll leave it under the car clean and paint it there.
Made a new brake line but it's a bit too long. It was my first time making one so I left room incase I muffed it up. I'll fit it later and see if it's really too long.
