Hey Andy....!

Seriously - I was just kidding with you - promise..!!!. (If I were to flame you, there would be no doubt in your mind "you'd been flamed" Well - that's what others tell me about my Flames )

You keep on posting - and sometimes - I'll pop in and give you a gentle nudge...

Best to ya!

Nawww - actually - that's not my style..... When I flame someone - I keep them on so they can reply. Then, depending on the reply - I flame them again, or PM them, or post back letting them know they are "OK" with their reply....

If I ban someone - they know they are banned - and I don't bother wasting keystrokes on Flaming in public - nor, would I ban them - and THEN flame them in public... That's unfair.

That's just me....

Best to ya!

Thanks a lot!! The paint isn't quite dry yet, but it's starting to feel like home again. Hopefully this one is a few factors less maddening and mysterious. Watch out for the International shipping... working on it - best to call or email.

Hey, it's all things to all people.

I'm just kidding with you.

Hey, don't mind John. He drives a car with the engine at the wrong end.

Sorry, just havin' a little fun with ya! It really doesn't matter if there's 83 or 84 threads in the archives, as long as someone finds them.

Of course if you'd looked there you wouldn't have had to do your own legwork OTOH, Your version has good detail so it's among the best of the 84 versions

My Dear Mr. Roffe,

First - no one minds me. Ever. It's a by-product of having teenage sons, who - again, I can assure you - they never mind me either. So that no one else minds me in the Rennlist Forums - is, well - quite a familiar aspect of my daily life, to the point that I don't mind not being minded. That I still retain a small portion of my mind, after not being minded, or teenagers not minding me, brings to mind just how old I am....

Insofar, and notwithstanding your last comment - to wit: "engine at the wrong end..." - I assure you, I paid my dues by owning 3-windblown, water cooled "beasts". After rebuilding two of them - numerous times - for numerous reasons - I can also assure you that a 951 owner as yourself appears to fixated on engine location. That, in my opinion - is based on the fact that you folks always have your head in that area of the car - having to fix "this" or fiddle with "that". While my Porsche may have the engine at the "wrong" end, as you put it - I can attest to the fact that, frankly, there are times I forget entirely the location of all SIX cylinders - as I don't have many reasons to open the engine hood...

Oh - and by the way.... Whenever I go to a 944/951 meet - I just drive in reverse. Ergo, my engine would be in the "proper end" for such gatherings....
