Default New Dash In!!!!

To make my self feel better about the little mishap I had last friday, I put the new dash in the car and boy what a difference it makes. It is not half as hard as people make out. The early console is basicly all plug and play clips and all the other wires are color coated. The hardest part was getting it over the ignition switch. I am happy that unlike my out side as of friday, the inside of my early 944 has to be one of the most mint out there .

You can have one already boxed in my basement that I was going to have recovered untill I found my perfect original one. I think the shipping is $25.00(big box) My dash was destroyed on its way out but this should do the job for you.

Is it new or used?

I noticed the Performance Products catalog lists them as NLA. Except for a brown one and its still about $1000.

It came out of a car with 3000 miles that got smashed in from the back I paid about 400 and it was a find, a perfect early dash is almost impossible to find.

I just took my dash out this last weekend to replace the heater hoses on the core and do all the typical fixup stuff under the dash while I'm there. I had to replace the electrical part of the ignition switch anyway, so I had removed the entire ignition housing from the shaft pior to removing dash. I bet you did have fun clearing this. I was thinking about that when I removed mine. Great score on the dashboard at Ebay! And sorry to hear about your mishap.
My dash has all the typical cracking, but its going back in when I'm ready for it. I'll have to keep a close eye out for deal like that when I can.

PICS! gotta see a decent dashboard! Congrats!
