Default Solved the Shuddering Idle Problem

Problem:

My car idles perfectly, but when you step on the gas pedal quckly, the idle drops below normal then quickly return back. Not serious, but very irritating since the car will shake and shudder when the idle hits below normal idle speed. This also happens whe decelerating to a stop.

Solution:
Removed air box, and AFM. Used Fuel Injection cleaner to clean inside of AFM and the rubber air intake tube. Also cleaned inside of Throttle Body and the butterfly valve inside the TB. Tightened all vacuum hoses around the airbox .

Results:
Completely eliminated the dropping idle in all driving situations. Idle is smoother. A better driving experience all around.

Having the same problem with my 85.5 NA. Just replaced the throttle control. Also the vacuum hoses to it (completely gone). This smoothed the idle. But I still have the problem you described. I'll try your fix.
