Default Fikse Tour

I picked up a set of fikse Wheels a few weeks back, 8.5x17 front & 10.5X17 Rear. Today our PCA club got a tour of the plant and operation. Boy was it impressive. First rate all the way, did I say IMPRESSIVE! Very friendly and knowledgable. I knew my wheels were very light and strong but wondered why they were that expensive . Now I know. It was the people, and the plant operation that set it apart. There was also many things that surprised and pleased me. One thing that they said that impressed me the most was that the street wheels and the Pro race wheels are done with the same tolerances, design and materials, basically the same wheel. They were speaking in general terms so that the non structural majors like me could understand. I have been involved with many mfg plants of various products but this is the only wheel mfg plant I've been through. I am not an expert but it was very streamlined and cost efficient. I was just impressed. The new design and styles are going to be a hit for them.
Sorry if I rambled

being a muscle car owner and a Porsche owner I know that Fiske wheels are some of the best out there. I just wish I had the money to support such a fine company.
