we have been in business 45 years this year and started with the 914, then the 924 then the 944 and then all of the rest. We have the worlds best 944 catalog as well as a huge stock of used 944 parts and of course everything new. The fact that we are within close proximity to the Porsche parts warehouse as well as no more than 12 miles from the three major Porsche parts importers, means we get parts out promptly

Best prices for factory stuff?
Porsche Marin. https://www.porschemarinparts.com/
Gaudin in Vegas. https://www.gaudinporscheparts.com/

They put Pelican to shame on prices.

Suncoast and Sunset are good too. But I don't think they meet those prices.

Be mindful of trying E-Bay as well. You never know what you'll find upon searching factory part numbers. Sometime guys sell off stuff from cars they no longer have, some people buy up stock from garages or warehouses that are liquidated. Sometimes those selling it have no idea what it is beyond the part number, so they'll post an ad with no description beyond that part number. I've gotten a few old obsolete parts that way.

we probably have at least 1000 924 944 968 parts on e bay under lionel_atlanta, many from stripping the cars years ago and recently from Al's inventory from Parts Heaven

Agree with those already listed, but often I find the best price at Rockauto.com. It's not a real helpful website nor can you talk to someone, but if you know exactly what you want their prices are great.
I also like fcpeuro.com.

Rock Auto is nice if you know exactly what you need ... good luck trying to return something if you ordered the wrong part.
I just ordered a power steering hose / line for my F150 , the exact same item was $8.00 cheaper with free shipping to Canada on Amazon as compared to Rock Auto.
Shop around , it's worth the effort !

Cheers
Phil

I've ordered a few things from you over the years. Good experiences, every one. Mainly, I find the site hard to navigate. As I do many parts sites. Every site really. I don't like digging through sites, diagrams, or categories. So, normally, I Google the part and let Google find the parts for me. I just never get results from Autoatlanta . What does show up mostly is Pelican, FCP, and lately Rose passion in "ADS". Which works. As I often order from those results. On more expensive parts I search by part numbers, but that just pulls in things like Sunset. I still rarely see your stuff. I then play the game of "who has the lowest shipping". And the sale goes to the lowest bidder (part + shipping). There are exceptions. If I'm looking for an "all you need" kit, I 100% turn to 944online. If performance or in-house solutions, Lindsey (or if I just want to pick someone's brain, or talk to a person about why part A is better than part/brand B.).

I do see 944online often in the actual results, and Jason's Paragon. I just searched "944 turbo throttle screw". And let's look at the results. Correct results from Pelican and Rose Passion right at the top. Incorrect results from FCP, ECS, and AutohausAZ. Rose has the best price and will get my first click. If the shipping seems high, I'll shop around. In the results (not ADS) first is Paragon, then 944online, Clarks (not helpful in this case), then ebay (always last choice).

Google has narrowed down my search to 4 sites that returned correct results. And these are sites I know and trust. And most importantly to me, it has given me a direct link. So I don't have to dig through a site. One normally is getting my money. However, in this case, because of your post, I found it on your site after some seaching. I like the price (within $2 of everyone else) and I like your shipping ($7). Rose... is $2 cheaper on the part, shipping is.... $18 more! $24 to ship a screw the size of a quarter?? NOT! So, they are not getting my business! Lindsey is about $.25 cheaper, but their site quoted $10 more for shipping ($17)! I'm sure I could call Dave and get it for like $5 shipping by USPS, but... well... I have to call. Pelican I don't normally buy from unless I'm getting more than $100 (for free shipping). But in this case they have it for $1 more, and about $4 less shipping (Big Surprise!). I always know 944online is going to be more $, so kits or very special parts (Ian is great if you need stuff like "all the A/C mounting bolts") is all I shop for there. Ian was about $15 more for the part alone in this case. Jason's shipping was $17. So, who got my $$$ this time? Pelican.

I had already ordered earlier today, but I was showing my process (and likely many people's process). Autoatlanta just never comes up in my results. If you did, I would likely order much more often. You used to come up a lot more. And I did have good experiences. I just simply don't shop by site, but by part. I just filter by sites I trust after 7 years of ordering parts for this thing! Then price+shippng compare. You came in #2 by a small margin! But now it's in my brain you have decent shipping (nothing pisses me off more than paying more in shipping than I do for a part). So, I'll manually try to remember to search your site in the future. And maybe Google will pull it in more often?

I believe vendors who pay Google a priority search fee go to the top of the preferred search list

Comparing prices for a few high dollar things with my aforementioned Porsche Marin.... there's quite a difference. Of around $1000 cheaper....from Marin.
Yikes.
