OT - I'm done with college forever!
I attended the last session of the last class I needed to graduate today! I was up until 6:30 in the morning today writing the last paper I needed to submit for my strategic management class, and now I'm done! No more school...well...maybe I'll do grad school in a year, but not any time soon. I'm not going to do the whole walking-across-the-stage thing because I will be deep in the middle of somehwere, USA when the graduation ceremony is taking place, and I hated every minute of my high school ceremony anyways. Now I have to get a job...bummer.

First off....Never stop learning....If you are lucky enough to find an employer that pays for classes, take them for fun. My dad works for boeing, and takes woodworking classes from an accredited tech school(which boeing pays for) to learn more about his hobby. I said the same thing when i graduated with my business degree, after 2 years of working i came to my senses and went to grad school. If you are in the business field....get your MBA without a doubt. Funny thing is, i was a buyer for a company, and other people with similar positions didn't even have a business degree...there were english majors, foreign language majors, etc.....doesnt matter what your degree is, just matters that you have one....and everyone has one now days, so you pretty much have to go to grad school to get ahead. Take a year, find out what you really want to do, then go get a graduate degree geared towards that Oh....and congrats!

Yup, I agree with you Karl. I am in purchasing and am a IT technician and have a bachelor of fine art degree.
About the walk across the stage, it may seem like a drag now, but you may wish you had later on down the line. Mine official graduation was cancelled because someone set of an explosive device outside the Civic Center where graduation was to be held a couple nights before which was followed by an additional bomb threat. Needless to say I didn't get to have a real commencement ceremony. While an impromptu unofficial ceremony was held, looking back now it doesn't quite feel the same.
