Hi Michael,
Looks like your are building an ITB engine. What ECU is the customer using? I researched the subject and found the best ECU application was at

I’m interested. Also, are you building it on your kitchen counter?

Hmm. That part number doesn't seem right.
Base 944 intake manifold PN - 9441101516R
951 intake manifold PN - 951110152 1R
944S intake manifold PN - 944110056 3R
944S2 intake manifold PN - 944110335 0R
968 intake manifold PN - 944110035 0x

So that's not just a cut stock manifold. The hole pattern looks like 8v head. I'm confused. Are those coolant tubes?

Well that's interesting, a part number on each one? Does that mean a factory production?

I tried to track down that part number on the side but came up with nothing. Looks like a proper p/n

Perhaps... quick googling shows that the GTR did have ITB's the tubes are not the same casting they've got some other bits and are visually different from these. My boss is a parts guy and I swear I have seen a couple of these lying around the shop. Might ask him what he knows about these after the holidays

You won't find these pieces. I posted the photos because they are a curiosity, and perhaps some would find them interesting. These are factory prototype 944 intake runners that use the MFI throttles created for the 924 D/P. Porsche and Holbert had planned to evolve the very successful 924 D/Production into C/Production using the 2.5 944 engine. I've held on to these thinking that I'd attach them to a bespoke plenum and single TB for a turbo application. Maybe some day I'll do it. Or not....

Aw gotcha. maybe if you dont plan on using them for anything make some molds of these it would probably be possible to make some out of carbon or maybe cast some new ones. Probably more work than its worth but I'd buy a set.

That does sound like a very good way to use them. Or you could hold a contest where the person who guesses closest to the inner diameter and centerline length wins them. $10 per guess?

I would imagine the i.d is going to be pretty ,uch the same id as the port in the head or a stock intake runner. Maybe use something a little less google-able like weight of a tube in grams or something
