Default WTB 2.7 head.

I am looking to buy a good condition 2.7 head for a 3.0 build.

What are you trying to accomplish using a 2.7 head on a 3.0 L shirt block?

Probably going turbo, since all of the 951 stuff will bolt to the 2.7 head, and the 2.7 head is the only head that will work on a 3.0 block (water channel) without having it modified. This is much cheaper/easier than having to create a custom 16v intake/exhaust manifold/custom piping

Good luck finding a 2.7 head, but if you cant, Lindsey Racing does make a modified 2.5 head to work on the 3.0 block (there is a core charge I believe)
https://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Por...V-CYLH-L1.html

(see the dropdown for "Mod for 3.0 block")

And dont forget that 951 forged rods drop right in for the 3.0 blocks, unless you already plan on going aftermarket.

This was posted the other day on the pelican forums
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...2-7l-head.html

Kinda pricey, the LR modified 2.5 head may be cheaper, but thought I would share

Not pricey in my opinion if all that work was well done. I’ve paid close to that for pristine used heads and was inquiring about that one when you purchased it. Best wishes

Cliff
