Pete- Your icon is distressing to look at! Hope the car comes out better than new! You got your car about the same time I got mine, right (last summer)?

Ah, come on. He didn't even strip the drivetrain & interior.

[best Crocodile Dundee accent] That's not how you paint a car. This is how you paint a car:

Sure! Regardless of car, good body/paint work is always impressive to see.

Man I wish I had the space to paint my car like that. I'm going to sand it down remove the front spoiler(bumper cover),nose panel, light panels, rear hatch, rear bumper, and the sunroof for the paint job. Interior and the engine/transmission will stay in just doing a little more then a basic exterior paint job on mine. I have picked to stay with the stock red color for it. If I had a place to do all the work I would then strip the car down remove everything and paint it a different color. I'm renting a spray booth and painting it there well my dad will since he painted cars in Germany and the States.

well, petes car was just going the same color so we decided against the all summer redo and went with the one month overall paintjob. I have however done an overall like that, in fact, I think it was further apart than that!!
