Exhaust manifold
So got a Lindsey exhaust system, you still need to use the front piece with the catalytic that bolts to the motor exhaust. My car has the tube two piece header so I got a spare cat piece since it has to be cut to keep the two flanges and the bungs for the O2 sensor. I not Porsche also had the motor exhaust made from iron that look heavier.
Sowhen I laid it out the connector flanges are not clocked the same, does the iron header have a different orientation than the tubed header?
My complete system next to the other cat, the Lindsey on the left.

Im not following why you dont want to use the section that was already on the vehicle? Cut your existing pipe, attach Lindsey system, youre good to go. The Lindsey system removed the catalytic converter and has a test pipe in its place, as you can see. So you cut it in front of the cat just before the O2 and the cat goes bye bye and you have a straight section in its place.
FWIW the far right exhaust appears to match that on my S2 (16V motors). Those cars use a tubular header that has a 3 bolt attachment to the head (8V has 2 bolt attachment in either tubular or cast).
