A quick question, My wife is a sales rep for Mercedes Benz, and they just took an 87 944 N/A in on trade (for $500). The manager of the dealership which is a friend of mine said I could swap any parts out with the trade in before they send it to the auction. My dash is cracked and the trade in's is perfect. Is it a big affair to pull the dash? I'm very capable with tools so bare in mind we're not talking about a novice mechanic.
thanks Greg

From what I've read (check Clark's Garage) it isn't too difficult; the hardest thing seems to be where you're working, getting at the ten million screws / nuts / bolts and then keeping track of them all so they don't get mixed up or lost. Good luck.
