Doug does the 951

He never even mentioned the transaxle layout, or even the wood in the floor.
Both items copied by the corvette 30 years later.
In the Doug score he gave it better handling and value than the 968 Clubsport. OK, If you say so!
Really though he's built a pretty strong following now offering his own version of BAT.

Yep. There is a approx 12" x 20" x 1/2" plywood board in the front of the passenger foot well. It hides the DME and some other electrical boxes.
Apparently Porsche designers felt the natural substance was better than all of the synthetic options for weight, strength and sound deadening.
The Z06 corvette did something vaugely similar..

Well that car didnt seem stock, he mentioned it had a ECU tune, its possible based on its condition, its shocks, springs, rubbers etc are all uprated and in great condition compared to the 968CS he drove which probably had a hard life.

Howdy! That's my 944, actually, so I can answer the question about the suspension components. (It can be your 944, too - I'm about to put it in the classifieds here.)
The only suspension change is the anti-roll bars from a 944 Turbo S. Otherwise, everything in the suspension is original. The past owners were fanatical about maintenance, so I still have the original anti-roll bars and ECU.

His knowledge, reviews and analysis are so surface level its a waste of time, you'd be better off reading the Wikipedia page of whatever vehicle he is reviewing.
I will say thought I skip to when he is driving the vehicle on any review, I think that is where Doug exceeds, I trust his experience behind the wheel.
