Wow, I go away for a Sat an wham!

Why parting:

It needs too much to be worth, what, $3k after I've put $1500 into it? The DMV fees would be almost $500 since it was sitting for so long. The body was sprayed poorly with bad prep work, shot brakes and struts, immoblie due to a clutch failure, wrong offset wheels . . . your getting the picture. I wanted the motor anyway for a 944-spec project (it needs belts and reseal), seats and some interior bits to finish my 2 turbos.

I need to move in a month an a half, this is the only way I knew how to get my $1500 out of it that I have into it.

Pricing: most major pricing is on the web site. I've priced things to move.

ELSSUU: $20 shipped for the trim. I have broken them removing before so I know how to do this one right- need anything else?

Phone dials are late offset on an early car and are 15 x 7 - quite strait- cracked tires good tread.

MRoberts: The gauge cluster is sold. I'd just buy a $40 gear if I were you, but I could not confirm the ODO working as the car was immobile when purchased - motor ran well though.

helzer: The body has had some bad repair work done and I would look for another candidate if I were you. If you still insist on wanting it, It would be my pleasure to give you the tub for $100 by june 1. Windshild is orig. - no cracks and w/ the antennae!

jonnybgood: fenders $50 ea. you pick up -see web site

bloodraven: hood pricing on web site

Jason-87924S : steering wheel has seams missing, no bad cuts or gouges. If interested I can send you a pic - email me.

cpt_koolbeenz: I inspected the ***** as best I knew how - I'm sorry about the knick. I will replace w/ one off this car if you want. Drivers fender is strait - see pic, but I want body parts picked up. For you, I will ship this piece though. $50 + ship and box

Mike Markota : $10 for lense - one in bumper, right?

Everyone else:

Please, I need this car gone in 1 month - no fudging on that time and I like to help people out. I figure better you get it than a junk yard. Please look at the web site for pricing and availability. I will update with already sold items and I will deal for multiple pieces - especially if you pick up.

Matt,
From the picture it looks like the left front fender is good. I want it because I have a dent in my India Red left front and yours appears to be a bolt on. Will I need to correct bad body work or paint on the left front fender?

jonnybgood: left front = drivers side yes, it's good. Capt Coolbeans has first right of refusal on it to ship though. Passenger side is not so good. As far as the repaint, the worst part of it was overspray and poor repair work on the passenger side panels, primarily in the rear. You will be able to do a sand and shoot real easily with the drivers side fender.

Rear hatch carpet is sold.

I'd be interested in the directionals/cruise/winshield wiper unit and the steering wheel.

wombat7: Black interior w/ no luggage cover.

Mike: email me for drivers or pass.

951Porschiste: $125 for wheel and control cluster. I will email you a pic of the wheel.

smkn951: the only thing I have for you is a lighter

I might be interested, since I need a windshield. I'll have to find out how much it would cost to ship. I'll try to follow up by mid-May.

I need the A/C tensioner bar that adjusts the Alt-A/C belt. It looks like a foot long bar from the bottom of the A/C compressor to the P/S pump. (Do you know what i am talking about?)
