What size are the phone dials?

mroberts 05-01-2004 06:54 PM

Does the odometer work ? Is it possible to drop a NA speedo / odometer block into a 951 cluster ?

judd944 05-01-2004 07:08 PM

the phone dials are late offset... on an early car. check out how far in the rear one looks! Speedo only goes to 160 MPH turbos go to 180 (MY 87-89) If you have an 86 turbo it might work but then you have no boost gage.

As an alternative to doing the body work on my car, I am considering purchasing a good (no dents, repairs, filler or rust) body with windshield, fenders, and door frames, and nothing else, to transfer all my good parts to during a "restoration". However, since I'm in central Florida the shipping might be excessive to make that feasible. I'd be interested to know what you think the "shell" is worth.

I will buy the Left Front Fender. I will be in so cal in June for UCLA graduation and could pick it up then.

Also, heater control unit as long as snowflake switch is working. front engine pan, alternator air cooling duct.

cpt_koolbeenz 05-02-2004 05:13 AM

How about the driver's fender liner?

Got the A-arms... Thanks! (There was a medium sized nick in one of them on the joint lip... Looks like it is fixable)

SoCal Driver 05-02-2004 05:24 AM
