Default 83 main fuse /relay panel

Does anyone out ther have any tips on how to get the main fuse panel out it’s supporting frame? I see that it’s suspended by two pin and I can get one side out ( rt side but not the left one. I need to inspect the wires going into the “D” plug for possible replacement. It is a red wire leaving pin 30 on the headlight switch. I think that it goes to pin 3 on the D socket on the main fuse panel. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks in advance. I’d rather not cut the pin off the panel or modify the frame.😀🙄

as you can see right side is slotted and just slides out.
left side is just a circular hole that the "pin" goes into straight. so you slide the right pin out of the slot, push on the wiring harness/block to take the stress off and you can wiggle the whole thing out of the bracket.
you need to remove the "aux fuse panel" first though.

a few months back i had the whole early fuse/relay panel assy offered up for free and nobody wanted it so it got trashed....maybe i shouldve kept it longer for you

You slide the right side up and forward, the left pin goes in a hole, then yell, cuss, and jerk like hell while saying bad things about German Engineers and pull it forward!
