Default blaupunkt aspen sqr 24

I' have a Blaupunkt Aspen SQR24 in my 924S. It's not what came with the car but is "period correct". I actually prefer it to the Reno that was in it but that may be due to it being on it's last legs. Didn't get a manual and I haven't been able to set the stations memory. I tried pushing the numbered buttons when I have a station to save, the ME then the numbers and also both at the same time. Same result....no preset. Am I missing something or do I have a button (ME?) that isn't working?
Plus- what is the LOC button for?

You might want to contact Artur Geller. He deals in a lot of stuff from that generation. I've dealt with him. He's a good guy.

"He deals in a lot of stuff"
Is he selling manuals or radios? I only want to know how the presets work. If he is a enthusiast then Thank you and I'll try contacting him

Heres a link to a manual I dont know accurate it is but I guess its what you are looking for. The LOC button is for local stations Im guessing and the DNR is the Dolby feature. Best of my memory is hold the preset button down until it acquires the station. I could be wrong. Ill say this somewhere in my memory banks the radio needs a constant hot and a switched source of power. Also from the memory archive they had a batter cell if you will that has something to do with the memory. Again I could be wrong just clicks in my head. Check out Harveys suggestion. If the guy is fresh with this stuff he will be in the know.

OK thanks
I find I have two problems. I played around some more and I think the ME button was sticking or just not working. I did not see a ME light until after playing with it a while then ME + station # worked. But the constant 12v, which I did hook up, is not constant now. I'll need to remove the seat to check out why as there is no way my back will take laying over it to look up.
