Fog lamp housing repair.
Sadly I had this written and it timed out.
So the threaded insert pulled out on housings which means you cant tighten the lense fixture properly. So Some pics and ideas.
So looking for a solution since super glue would not hold I hit the local Ace Hware. I found nut inserts for wood work that have a aggressive thread that can be screwed into the back of the main housing if you will. They are threaded SAE 10-24 I used a tapered machine screw just for depth purposes. The back side housing sits into a recess in the front valance for those who have not taken it all apart. Theres places for 4 screws to secure the housing into the valance and a L shaped bracket that bolts to the chasis on the inner corners that 2 of the screws go thru. Sadly who ever put mine back together did not run the screw thru the bracket and only used 2 crews per light. More to come once reassembled.
