Settle down, The bracket is cheap at the dealer, Only like 20-30 bucks (if that much) Now that you started drilling you need to be careful of getting shavings down in the flywheel area. Have you tried a vicegrips? lots of pennatrating oil? How about an easy out? Not too sure you could even get a drill in there though..... Good luck.

You are not able to drill into that old sensor? It can't be that hard of material. Don't worry about pushing the sensor into the housing and loosing it, it will hit the flywheel in about .8mm. I would find some small drill bits and start small, and work to a large bit, then maybe once the hole is started, get a hex head TEC screw (self drilling) and try and set the screw in the sensor....maybe then the screw will help you turn the sensor and break it loose. Otherwise you are going to have to find a way to get that stripped locking bolt out.....which as you know will be a b*tch with no clearance down there. Possibly an 90 degree angle drill may help out.

He broke the sensor flush with the bracket, so he won't be able to get on it with a pliers or anything.

As you are drilling, spray the drill bit with cutting oil, it will cut much faster.

Use an 1/8" diameter drill around the steel core in several places. Once you free up some room drive an awl in between the sensor OD and the bracket in several places to break it loose. Should be able to get in with some needle nose pliers and pull the pieces out.

The broken adjustment bolt is another problem. This may require that the engine be pulled to get to it.
