wah wah wah looses power BULL
the real backpressure comes from the muffler. and i happen to like the sound.
anyhow, i couldnt get it all with a big metal pole so i ended up banging the outside with a rubber mallet to break it all apart. haven't hooked out the stupid wire thingies yet. i'm going back to stock anyhow, as its going back to being a street car.

From the DMV website:
"For the 2004 registration year, all 1980-2001 model year gasoline powered cars and light trucks (up to 8,500 lbs gross vehicle weight rating) registered in the following counties require an emission inspection: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding, and Rockdale."
My 951 would not pass NOX with a gutted cat... passed with extremly low emissions with the cat.

I think Campeck has another convertot to put on when the time comes.
Campeck, with no O2 sensor, you had a fairly large hole in the exhaust. No wonder it was loud. Sounds like it wasn't connected anyway, so it probably wasn't working. I don't think you need an O2 sensor or a convertor for the car to start. Must be something else.
