Anyone going have a vaccum pump to pull a vaccum on my newly installed 134a a/c system? I wanna vaccum it good before I charge it.

During my initial introduction to these cars I searched and searched for info...

I found a vast wealth of knowledge on many sites.

There are some extraordinary people out there.

Unfortunately, I am not one of them.
I take pleasure in helping someone with something that I know ( or think I know ).

Anyway, Rennlist was one site that I came upon on my search for the vast knowledge of the P-Car. I always had it in the back of my mind as I found that this site was more to my likeing(sp).

Ever since this thread started, I thought.. I gotta get on Rennlist to check it out..

well... today there was a thread that I saw for a southern california meet. There were many that said " Lets get together "
I saw that and then looked at the day IT WAS TODAY (Sat) ..
I was just about to register (not become a member,just register)..then I saw the rest of the thread.
The rennlist " MEMBERS " were totally IGNORING the posts from other people saying " sounds like fun, where's the meet "..
In other words.. If you are not a paid member.. not only are you NOT invited.. but we will not even aknowledge your (repeated) posts.

Is this really a club that I should belong to.. will I feel warm & Toasty from being a member.

It appears that everyone that participated in this event sent PM's back and forth about the location, direction, and times. That is fairly common for a lot of people to do when organizing these small get togethers. I think that you and a few others got interested and the "people in the know" didn't get a chance to see the questions and answer before the get together took place.

I don't think anyone ignored or snubbed people because they were non-members like you stated over on Pelican. Rennlist is not elitist like that at all.

Went well - yes working on 951s is a PITA but it's up and running now. I got there kinda late in the game (afternoon) and there was a lot already done, but it was still good to see.

Damn, I've gotta get me a 951. . .

Or a 968 engine to put in mine. . .

Or something. . .
