What exactly is wrong with the unit? If it's bearings, those are readily available. Voltage regulators are also available. Beyond that, actual repair of windings and such is beyond my skill set and results in a trip to a local alternator rebuild shop.

If you are unable to get the parts you need from Porsche or unable to source them from companies that specialize in Porsche parts, you may want to consider buying a good used alternator from someone here on the forum. Install it in your car until you can find the parts to rebuild your original alternator.

Wrong alternator... his is 90A, not 115A.
