Lindsey chip issue
Just put in lindsay chips. Now have crank no start. The DME relay is going nuts. When separating the two halves of computer before clips gave way pins were pulling away from board.
I believe this to be problem Know any repair places or is this somthing Lindsey does. Cant find on website.

Someone else (maybe it was you?) found that the Lindsey chips could sort of be installed the wrong way 'round; is this what's causing the car to freak out when you install them?
Good luck

This link might help. It is from Rogue Tuning website and applies to NA and Turbo Tunes. Lindsey purchased the 951 Tune rights from Rogue Tuning.

Yes The relay was what was going nuts(chattering) Taiked to Lindsey tuning today had me try just DME chip with old KLR chip same result. I do believe i have a bad chip.
They could be labeled backwards, dont know will talk with them tommorow.

I believe a verification of the DME socket and extra wire connections per Rogue Tuning Instructions posted earlier is necessary. Maybe your board is missing the pins to make it a 28 pin connection and the extra wiring connectors on the PCB

This is true but only applies to the Rogue tunes - ie A tune, M tune and na tune. Lindsey Max 951 chips are not Rogue chips. I am running LR A tune chip (Rogue) currently so am familiar with installation. I have no idea how LR Max951 chips are installed but considering there are two chips, one for DME and one for KLR, I do not think they install the same way. So before you cut the resister check with LR for instructions on their chips.

I talked with Dave from Lindsey Chips. Both came to conclusion that DME chip is likely faulty. I would like to say they were very helpful and worked to rectify problem. New chips on way, No charge.
