Default Anyone dyno their 944S or S2 (2.5 16V)?

Just curious...

I've searched the internet to no avail. It seems not one human being on the planet has taken their S-car to the dyno!

I've seen one or two S2 dynos here, but I was hoping to find results of the 944S. If you have any numbers, throw them down!

I'm sure something will turn up, the 3.0 liter S2 isn't the best comparison.

Yeah, I hear ya. I'm just getting antsy and I won't be able to run mine (won't have it built) for at least 4-5 weeks, and I want to be able to get a fair guesstimate before hand!

If you happen to find anything, lemme know!

I did, rod bearing got bored and went on a tour of two cylinders a few days later.

Are you sure you want to know the true output?

Get that Chevy 350 out of your sig if you have a running 944S. Sell it to a 16V lover and covert one of the more plentiful 944 8V's.

Yes, I want to know...hence the post! If you ran her, let me know what she did! You big tease you!

I will do the 350...but all in due time. Can't afford the downtime at the moment, so I opted to rebuild the 16V. It will cost far less (~1200) to get the 16V compeltely rebuilt and then I'll have a running car in weeks, not months as it would take to complete the 350 on my meager budget. I am still in the midst of ordering parts. But I want some numbers to compare to!

Hmmm...

So do you guys think that maybe ~160hp and ~145tq is a reasonable guesstimate?

with the 15% rule and assuming 188 HP is accurate, yes.
