Talking New 944 owner, new to Rennlist

I bout an 88 951 about a mont ago and I LOVE it, I was looking for about two years (mostly dreaming) but finally saved enough money to get one. It is white with burdandy interior and has 130k but 10k on a rebuilt motor, a fresh turbo cup clutch, chips (where are they and how do you tell what company they are from?), a Bursch cat eliminator. A week after I got it I had to return to college in Michigan (from Arizona, 2600 miles). In Salt Lake City my alternator was dying.....ARRR....but I got an original Bosch the following day (Baxters Imparts in Salt Lake) and was on the road again.

I have a few question on it though
1. there is two plugs under the passenger side dash that are disconnected. They are both round and one has 4? treminals and the other has 7? what doo they go to and why would they be disconnected?

2. Some of the undertrays are missing, the one under the front bumper is missing and if there is one behind the motor it is also missing. Does anyone have a replacement they wany to sell?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Welcome! Congrats on your good taste in automobiles. . .

There are a number of places that might have the pans, I've even seen 'em on evilbay from time to time. . . People part out these cars all the time so you shouldn't have too much of a problem finding them. You might even want to just try some junkyards, but have fun getting under the car to get it!

I forgot, my sunroof lifting gear stripped out, the white one in the roof. I was so happy that it still worked. How do I replace it and about how long should it take?

I agree - welcome! Make sure to read the faq's and search. Nice choice on the 951, post some pics and don't forget to create a profile on www.p-caronline.com , and submit to the 944 registry.

Welcome, I think you'll like it here.

Cory is the official Rennlist Greeter, just like at WalMart.
