Default Broadfoot racing engine

I am thinking of purchasing a rebuilt engine from Broadfoot Racing in Jacksonville, Fl.

Does anybody have one of his engines in their car? I know he has a great reputation and has been building Porsche engines for awhile...but I am wondering if anybody has any personal experiances.

I appreciate it,

Is this for a road car or a race car?

daily road driver. Maybe take it to the track after I get everything in line. I live near the Roebling road track that I have read is a nice place. I just want to get the car running. My block has some bad scoring so I've decided to go with a rebuild as I want to drive the car for several years.

Then you probably don't want a race engine. Race engines are built to a specific set of rules and limitations.

Better late than never...

I have had a few Broadfoot built 951 engines, two race (3L turbo & 2.6L turbo) and one street (2.5L turbo). Never had a problem with any of them.

I like the quote on that page that says "Come buy our shop any time to check out this engine!"

Thats not a bad deal - an install for $600 with a $400 credit on the old engine core.

I have a rebuilt transaxle from Albert and have been happy with it. He is very experienced with the 944 series cars.

I've been thinking about this as well. I'm originally from Lake City (an hour west of Jax) and could take my car down for the install while staying with my dad (or friends). If you do this, lemme know how it turns out.

I have a Broadfoot engine in my car, and its for street use...no complaints, they were really good people to deal with as well.

Jax is ALWAYS a good place to go in the latter portion of October if you are a Florida Gator. Right Dawgs?
