Didn't know it was a factory option. Advertised like it is. Where is it?

"944L"

The L must be the option code for Liar, Loser, or Lame.

hmmm i half expected to see a callaway turbo in there somewhere, i don't even see that... what a turd! it does look like a decent low mileage example, although you can't really tell 'cause there's no interior pics.

Gee...well on the early cars the odometer only had 5 digits, so if it's X39,288 miles, what's the X? 1? 2? 3???
And with 0 feedback and a changed Ebay identity??? Why, that car is as good as SOLD!!!

A $2500.00 deposit. heck, he will be lucky to bring $2,500.00 for the whole car.

Maybe he just genuinely doesn't know what turbo means? He could think it just means fast, like so many non-car people.

Mileage isnt as important as consistant and proper preventative maintenance IMHO.

Probably a callaway conversion, L is a European model I think (Luxe).

You can't see the turbo on a 951, so it doesn't surprise me you can't see it on this car.

You don't have to see the turbocharger itself to identify a turbocharged engine. Look at the intake plumbing at the picture, that engine is normally aspirated. Just like it was as original in 1983.

If he had a turbocharger new in the box back in his trunk, the car would still not have a turbo engine.
