Default Land Speed Racecar For Sale

This is a no-brainer for anyone interested in a Land Speed Record. I prepared the engine and gearbox, and some set-up advice to the owner. It's a plug and play deal. Someone should jump on it.

Buy your land speed record… (or two) at a discounted price! I’m selling my SCTA, ECTA and LTA land speed G/CPRO record holding 1979 Porsche 924. It’s ready to take to El Mirage, Bonneville, Arkansas or Texas One Mile venues, or Maine’s 1.5 mile land speed event as it sits. It has new Hoosier wheels/tires (six in total) and the fire system is certified through 2024. It will need new belts next year. It’s fully equipped with data logger, and many spares. After it was fitted with an improved air intake plenum - it ran a new G/CPRO record 142.443 in the 1.0 mile and 156.343 MPH in the 1.5 mile at Loring Maine. Based on that performance, I firmly believe it will best its' current SCTA and ECTA records. The dry sumped engine and transmission were both professionally built, and no expense was spared in the overall construction of the car. Over $50K invested. Asking $22,000. It’s fully equipped 24’ enclosed and well-equipped Hallmark trailer – to include lighting, straps, winch, race ramps and even a pit scooter is available for $4,500 (but only with the car). Full documentation of every one of its 28 passes is available as well as all current logbooks. More photos are available on request. Car in located near Cincinnati, Ohio. Buy the trailer and car and take it home as a package!

    • Nigel. If you'd like to see it live, go to youtube and type "20180812 salt flats" in the search box and you'll watch a 150 mph run! Rick
