lol how profound and helpful!

Some people actually like to troubleshoot and maybe learn something new about their car/technology instead of just throwing parts at it…

yeah because replacing a known failure point forever is soooo stupid right? I learned a lot the hard way but no matter what I learn I really want and now have a car that starts every time I jump in it like it, and all cars, are meant too, and not end up stranded because of 80's technology that is easily sorted forever. Sure you can jumper etc and even resolder old relays but why would you when this issue is now history? I also run the solid state fan relay to because it's just better. It's only throwing parts at it when you don't know the problem and are hoping for a lucky fix. Replacing known failure points isn't throwing parts at it, its called fixing the issue
