Rich,
I think the radio was shared between the 911, 814, some 928's, and the 924, possibly Porsche 91164500310. Mono AM/FM w/pushbuttons.
When I bought my 924 in '77 it had a blank plate and did not have a radio, but did have the three speaker option, center dash, and two left & right under 3/4 windows.
I elected to not have the dealer install since the radio was mono and expensive, and purchased a Craig AM/FM stereo and installed it myself.
Here's a link to AutoAtlanta:

Horribly over priced, but also try 928 International in Anaheim, CA, tel. 714-632-9288.
You must really be dedicated to this restoration!
