can anyone tell me the best way to test/jump the ignition? Right now Im getting no, crank, but the wires look good and the starter works. I have a feeling its the switch, but they arent cheap enough to buy a new one just to try.

Use the wiring diagram to follow the outputs from the ignition switch. If they are all good, the switch is good.
Hrmmm, Well, pulled the plug off the switch and tried to "hotwire" it, still the same. But this time I was on my knees out side the car, and heard the clicking. I think its the starter solenoid. Couldn't tell when i was turning the key, it sounded like it was coming from the passenger footwell at first.
I used my charger, to connect direct to the starter and it spun, but I wasnt able to connect to both the solenoid and the motor at the same time....
turns out it was the starter. The motor will spin if I put power through the body of the starter. But the Positive terminal, appears to not be making contact.
Well back to the drawing board! Replaced the solenoid, starter works.... when i jump it directly. But not with the key. I am hearing the ignition relay click however.
Take the wire off the starter from the ignition switch and connect a volt meter. Turn the key to the start position and see if you get 12V. If you do the ign switch is good. If not the switch or the wiring is faulty.

And while you have that little wire off the solenoid, make sure the car is in neutral and run a jumper wire from the solenoid terminal and connect it directly to the battery positive. If the starter does not crank the engine, the problem is in your starter/solenoid.

I already did that, the engine will turn over it I jump the starter.
But I took apart the connector for the Switch and just shorted it, and it does the same as the key does, so I doubt its the switch. Right now either way, I just get a little double click from the starter solenoid, thats it.
